Essays and Keynotes by Vincent Zulu

Hello. Vincent here, I am glad to meet you!
I am an impact strategist, a student of life, and a memoirist exploring what it means to build, lead and live with purpose and meaning. Through story, spirit, and lived experience, I reflect on success, pain, dreams, and becoming; and how we might create work and lives that remain deeply human.

I was called into founding and being Team Principal at the Bukelani Institute, where I hold space for vision, culture , and collective performance
My Story
My professional journey has moved in wide arcs. It began with the founding of Instra Analytics, a management consulting practice, then carried me into public service as Head of the Maritime Centre of Excellence, working at the intersection of skills development, enterprise support, and community engagement.
That path eventually brought me full circle to the founding of the Bukelani Institute, where I was called into being the Team Principal, holding responsibility for vision, culture, and collective performance.

Along the way, I have learned as much from uncertainty as from structure, and from failure as from achievement.

Alongside this work, I write and share stories — through essays, Success With Soul Keynotes, and small, intimate meet-ups — as invitations to rethink inherited ideas of success and to remember what it feels like to be fully alive.
Somewhere quietly in the background, I remain a learner myself, and am a member of Coaches and Mentors of South Africa, the South African Institute of Financial Markets, and Catalyst Now.
This is not a place for answers.
It is a space for becoming.

You are welcome here.
